These are a Louis X1V Revival style chairs dating from the late 19th century to early 20th (circa 1880-1920), inspiring the grandeur of the 17th century. Painted a warm white to give the pieces a lighter elegance than the heavy dark wood of its period. The backs have an ornate hand carved detail featuring acanthus leaves, floral motives and little song birds on each crest. Truly beautiful workmanship.Solid and in great condition.
