This antique ceramic water filter, , circa 1870. In the old days, it was used as a promotional display in a Pharmaceutical Shop in Boston,to advertise the NEW pasterised water filter, guaranteed to offer you and your Family pure , unpolluted water and keep you free from illness and disease. Standing alone as an eye catching antique ceramic, but could equally be used with a simple liner to display flowers etc. Excellent condition with rich patinated glazed finish in the pale cream stoneware. A wonderful decorative kitchen piece!
